I do recommend the Studio users forum, I went there a lot when I was still using Studio, and there are lots of helpful folks there. As I said earlier, you can write down or print out your Serial Number and Passport Number, and then go online from a different pc to get the activation code for MPEG-2. MPEG-2 is required for making DVDs, so you will have to activate that online. My list shows (if memory serves) VCD, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DVD. Just pick the format you want, and then adjust the bitrate settings and other settings as needed. If at some point earlier you had chosen MPEG-4, that is what will be selected now. It brings up a window with tabs for Make Avi, Make Disk, and Make Tape.Ĭlick the Make Disk tab, and choose from the drop-down list on the left side. When I go to make movie, and click the Settings button, ![]() I have Studio 9 and Studio 10, so I am not positive if my "make movie" page is the same in Studio 11. Avid Studio 2.0 Ultimate (Team V.R) Passport 00098-17544-81800-07413-15485 DVD Extreme Sports (Team V.R) LAFRY-FAAAA-ADUXA-BRIES-QGHPX DVD. ![]() I believe Studio keeps the last-selected format as "default" until you change it. I think possibly it is asking you for MPEG4 activation because that is the format that is currently selected in your Make Movie "Settings" window.
